A Step-by-Step Guide to Fun Party Decorations for Minecraft Fans

Throwing your child’s birthday party or decorating for a trunk or treat event can be stressful, but Minecraft decorations don’t have to be! From making a pig block to a large creeper – there are endless decoration ideas to personalize a Minecraft themed party and make your event memorable. Today I will share with you some easy to make decorations and game ideas to incorporate into your next Minecraft themed event.


Decorations

Below learn how to make the different decorations and how to use them for a trunk or treat or birthday party with ease.


Creeper Decoration

What you need: Plastic green table cloths, clear tape, two small boxes for feet, larger box for body and square box for head, black construction paper.

How to make:

  1. First make the body by covering it with green table cloth
  2. Then do the same with head and feet covered with green table cloth
  3. Cut out face using construction paper. We didn’t use a pattern or anything just get a creeper picture and use a ruler to make the design
  4. Now all you have to do is tape all the pieces together and now you have a creeper!

Enderman Decorations

What you need: Plastic black table cloths, clear tape, one larger rectangular box for body and square box for head, pink and purple construction paper.

How to make:

  1. First make the body by covering it with black table cloth
  2. Then do the same with head covered with black table cloth
  3. Cut out eyes using construction paper. We didn’t use a pattern or anything just get a Enderman picture and use a ruler to make the design
  4. Now all you have to do is tape all the pieces together and now you have a Enderman!

Pig Decoration

What you need: Plastic pink table cloths, clear tape, four small boxes for feet, larger box for body and square box for head, white, black and pink construction paper.

How to make:

  1. First make the body by covering it with pink table cloth
  2. Then do the same with head and feet covered with pink table cloth
  3. Cut out eyes and nose using construction paper. We didn’t use a pattern or anything just get a pig picture and use a ruler to make the design
  4. Now all you have to do is tape all the pieces together and now you have a pig!

Ghast Decoration

What you need: Plastic white table cloths, clear tape, eight narrow slices of cardboard, larger box for body, black and white construction paper.

How to make:

  1. First make the body by covering it with white table cloth
  2. Then do the same with the 8 stripes of cardboard covered with white table cloth
  3. Cut out eyes using construction paper. We didn’t use a pattern or anything just get a ghast picture and use a ruler to make the design
  4. Now all you have to do is tape all the pieces together and now you have a ghast!

You can get a easy to use spinner from Amazon and then use Minecraft stickers to set the theme. Decide what prizes can be won when the children spin the wheel. We used different names for each plus used storage boxes to hold the prizes.
